DESCRIPTION:Join us on August 17th from 10AM-2PM for an art demo with Mary Buckley! \nMary lives with her husband Bill in Starkville\, Mississippi\, where they serve with Fellowship of Christian Athletes on the MSU campus. Mary is also an accomplished\, self-taught artist represented by some of the best galleries in the state: Southern Breeze Art Gallery in Ridgeland\, MS; The Caron Gallery in Tupelo\, MS; Negrotto’s Fine Art and Custom Framing in Biloxi\, Ms; and Turnrow Gallery in Greenwood\, Ms. You can view and purchase her work by visiting their shops and their web sites.  \nShe has won several awards including “Best of Show” at the Peter Anderson Festival in Ocean Springs\, and also at the Cotton District Festival in Starkville. Her work has recently been featured in the recently renovated Cotton Mill in Starkville where you will see twenty four of her paintings representing various geographic areas across the state. Mary’s work is primarily landscapes and florals which are expressive and exciting with an impressionistic flair.
