SUMMARY:Art Demo with Peyton Hutchinson at the Caron Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Join us during Gumtree Festival weekend at the Caron Gallery for an art demo with Peyton Hutchinson from 9AM-2PM! \nPeyton says\, “I am Peyton Hutchinson\, an artist who loves color! Growing up in Mississippi instilled in me a love of the outdoors\, and the beauty and drama of nature continue to be my greatest creative inspiration. As a painter\, my greatest challenge is to try to depict all of the gorgeous colors of the landscape. Therefore\, I consider myself a colorist of contemporary landscapes. \nI graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and also studies at the Rhode Island School of Design. During college\, I ventured to the Marchutz School of Art in Aix en Provence\, France where I fell madly in love with painting natural landscapes plein air. That’s also where I discovered my new best friend\, the palette knife! \nI live and work from my studio in Madison\, Mississippi with my husband\, Burney\, our three children and two pups. Locally\, I have studied with renowned artists Jere Allen\, Greg Cartmell\, and Bob Tompkins. I also studied impressionism with Italian artist Jerry Fresia\, and Californian artist Camille Prezwodek.” Peyton Paintings \nShop her work here: https://thecarongallery.com/Artist/peyton-hutchinson/
