Join a park ranger at the Chickasaw Village Site for this free 1.5 mile guided hike to immerse yourself in forest\, fresh air\, and wildlife. While the hike will be mostly shaded\, please dress appropriately and bring water.  \nNational Scenic Trails are recreational trails of more than 100 miles in length that provide for the conservation and enjoyment of the nationally significant scenic\, historic\, natural\, or cultural qualities of the areas through which such trails may pass. The Scenic Trail is one of 11 National Scenic Trails and has five sections that can be used for hiking and/or horseback riding. Your donation will help with an over 20 percent decline in summer blood donations. Join us for an Elvis inspired event and Rock & Roll up your sleeve with us to save lives! \nJoin Vitalant on June 27 from 7 am – 7 pm and June 28 from 8 am – 5 pm at the Vitalant Donation Center located at 4326 South Eason Blvd. for this fun filled event while we save lives together! \nAll donors will receive a Rock & Roll T-shirt\, a $25 Amazon gift card (online reward) and a McAlister’s coupon! (T-shirt and McAlister’s coupon are while supplies last).  \nGrand prizes include: $500 Walmart gift card; Garmin Sportswatch; Samsung Chromebook; $250 Amazon gift card; $150 Walmart gift card; and a YETI Hopper Two 30 cooler. \nFood will be provided each day: breakfast from Chick-fil-A\, lunch from Jimmy Johns\, and dinner from Chicken Salad Chick. DESCRIPTION:Tupelo Community Theatre will present its summer youth production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR\, with music by Alan Menken\, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and book by Doug Wright\, based on the Hans Christian Andersen Story  June 27st and 28th  at 7:30 p.m. and 29th at 2 p. m. at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Tupelo.  Journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends in an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and younger and may be reserved by calling the box office at 662-844-1935.
