DESCRIPTION:We invite the community to our Kitten Yoga classes held every Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M.  \nClasses are $10 per person and will be taught by professional yoga instructors in an environment filled with kitten happiness!  \nEach Participant must:\n•	Bring their own mat or blanket.\n•	Sign the waiver form for each session. Children under the age of 18 must have their parent sign the waiver for each session.\n•	Be at least 16 years of age. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No child under the age of 10 will be allowed to participate in yoga.\n•	Be respectful of other yoga participants and not play music or otherwise disturb the class with disruptive behavior or language.\n•	Be respectful of the animals. DESCRIPTION:A special program of dulcimer music will be provided by the North Mississippi Dulcimer Association from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm\, at the Parkway Visitor Center located at milepost 266 near Tupelo\, Mississippi. \nThe North Mississippi Dulcimer Association teaches dulcimer history\, tradition\, craftsmanship\, and music by sharing its knowledge and talents. The Appalachian mountain dulcimer is the first instrument developed in the United States. Dating back to the early 1800s\, the dulcimer is an instrument whose very name means “sweet sound.” The National Park Service and the North Mississippi Dulcimer Association invite everyone to listen to the soft sweet sounds of the dulcimer and learn about its extensive history.

DESCRIPTION:The Wives of Warriors (WOW) will be hosting the 5th Annual 5k honoring All Fallen Officers and also All Law Enforcement heroes that currently serve. Special Thanks to the Tupelo Running Club for directing and assisting with our race.  \nW.O.W. is a group of ladies that share a common thread: we are proud\, we are strong\, and we love a law enforcement officer.  \nWe will be honoring and remembering our thin blue line heroes with a 5k that you will remember forever. All monies raised will stay within the state of Mississippi to purchase body armor (bullet proof vests) for departments that cannot afford to purchase them and to help officers and their families in need\, all in memory of Sgt. Gale Stauffer and Mst. Sgt. John Collum. In 2015 we were able to purchase vests for 16 officers. In 2016 we were able to purchase vests for 34 officers. In 2017 we purchased vests for 39 officers. In 2018 we purchased vests for 25 officers and hope to purchase even more this year! We hope to have as wonderful an event this year as we did last September. DESCRIPTION:The Tombigbee Pioneer Group will demonstrate pioneer era crafts and skills at the Parkway Visitor Center\, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. The demonstrations will show the challenges faced and creative solutions developed by those Americans who lived in the area from the 1700s to around 1840. \n The public is invited to participate in pioneer lifestyle activities that often include crafting baskets\, spinning\, weaving\, leather working\, making corn-husk dolls\, and other traditional craft demonstrations. Mountain dulcimer demonstrations are usually offered throughout the day. Children are invited to dress up in pioneer clothes and participate in craft activities. \n This program is free to the public. The visitor center is located at milepost 266 on the Natchez Trace Parkway\, near Tupelo\, Mississippi. For additional information\, please call (800) 305-7417.

SUMMARY:Kitten Yoga!
DESCRIPTION:We invite the community to our Kitten Yoga classes held every Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M.  \nClasses are $10 per person and will be taught by professional yoga instructors in an environment filled with kitten happiness!  \nEach Participant must:\n•	Bring their own mat or blanket.\n•	Sign the waiver form for each session. Children under the age of 18 must have their parent sign the waiver for each session.\n•	Be at least 16 years of age. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No child under the age of 10 will be allowed to participate in yoga.\n•	Be respectful of other yoga participants and not play music or otherwise disturb the class with disruptive behavior or language.\n•	Be respectful of the animals. Children and their parents will be shown how to handle the animals by the TLHS yoga supervisor.\n•	Understand animals participating will seek the participant out for affection and the animals do not need to be chased or “grabbed” for petting or cuddling.  \nWe thank everyone who helps us sponsor these classes and to all the participants that come out to enjoy our kittens!  \nIf you have any questions\, please inbox us or contact us via email at info@tupeloleehumane.org or call 662-205-4221!
