Northeast Mississippi Law Enforcement Memorial

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. Mississippi COPS along with the Wives of Warriors will be hosting the 20th annual memorial honoring NE Mississippi officers that gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We will be having a candlelight vigil and special music by the Tupelo High School Choir. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
