Summer Reading Debora Waz Presents Out of This World Reptiles

Debora Waz, Conservation Biologist/Outreach Educator with the MS Museum of Natural Science will visit the library. Debora calls this program “Out of this World Reptiles” for a very good reason! She plans to have a variety of reptiles for the children to view, including a terrestrial turtle, several aquatic turtles and a small alligator. Debora will speak with the children about the various reptiles that live in our area and educate them about what to do when you see these reptiles out in the areas where you live.
All ages are welcome to participate in both the reading challenge and the schedule events. For those who are not ready to read, we also have activities that can be completed that encourage imagination and listening skills.
