Tactical Emergency Casualty Care/Active Shooter Training

This course is POST commission approved for Tennessee law enforcement agency in-service training credit (8hrs). Also open to the general public. 2 year certification.
This is a high level,fast paced course that also provides a 2 year certification in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care. This course is for private citizens, businesses, rescue,EMS,preparedness seeking individuals,law enforcement and anyone else who wishes to be better prepared for mass casualty or active shooters where medical help will not be immediately available.
You will receive medical instruction from our schools instructors who are former Law Enforcement, U.S.Army 82nd airborne and private sector flight medics as well as current level 10 American Safety and Health Institute instructors and a critical care paramedic. You will also learn self applied medical skills, defensive tactics, weapons malfunction clearing drills, as well as armed and unarmed fighting tactics that will help you succeed in both caring for others and staying alive. We offer the best training available.
This course is a nationally recognized 8 hour course that follows the TECC First Care Provider guidelines and gives you the skills necessary to save lives during hostile situations such as active shooter,mass casualty and terrorist attacks. This is a high-tempo course where you will be low crawling, moving casualties via tether and other manual means. You will be performing a myriad of trauma skills while facing direct and indirect threats as well as tactical entry and extraction. You will also conduct live fire extractions.
Students will be issued an individual first aid kit (IFAK) to use during the course and will have the option to purchase it at the end of the course. All students will receive a course textbook, certificate, and certification card upon passing a skills examination and a written exam. Please bring a EDC handgun or carbine if desired, extra magazines and 100 rounds of ammunition.
Cost is $150. Scholarships available for public service agencies. 3 student minimum.
