United Way Day of Action 2019

On and around June 21, tens of thousands of people in hundreds of communities across the world will volunteer through United Way to make their community a better place. United Way Day of Action is an opportunity for volunteers, donors and advocates who seek to change lives and communities to be part of the solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.
In Northeast Mississippi, we are participating by creating Literacy Kits to benefit the pre-K classrooms in daycares in our region. In the days leading up to June 21, you can donate supplies or money to provide the items for the kits. Then on June 21, we will have a volunteer day to package the kits for delivery to pre-K classrooms before the start of the new school year!
