The Rundown 10/15/18

Good Morning Tupelo! Today is October 15th, 2018. It’s the 288th day of the year, and there are 78 days remaining. There are 15 days until Halloween, 37 days until Thanksgiving (better get your flights booked), 66 days until winter, and 70 until Christmas.

Here’s a quick weather update from WTVA – The Weather Authority

As a frontal boundary moves through the region during the day, expect temperatures to be widely variable from place to place throughout the day. We will mostly begin with temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s. A few spotty showers are likely as well, mostly north of Highway 278.

As the day advances, we will see this front slowly push through the area from north to south. So areas across the north likely see temperatures fall all day long. Some across the south, where the front won’t pass until the afternoon, will warm up a bit more ahead of the front’s passage. This means high temperatures will range from the lower and mid-60s across the north, occurring early in the morning; to the lower and mid-80s across the south, occurring later in the afternoon. Rainfall totals will be very minimal, likely no more than a tenth of an inch in most locations.
