Good morning, and that’s right, it’s Food Truck Friday! It’s also Friday, October 5th, 2018. It’s the 278th day of the year and there are 87 days remaining. There are only 26 days till Halloween. Oh, and keep in mind most of the area schools are closed this coming Monday for Columbus Day.
Here’s a quick update from WTVA – The Weather Authority forecast, and yes, it’s more heat.
High pressure across the southeast has been persistent the last few days. And as we head into the weekend, it remains in place. But perhaps it weakens a bit, giving us a few isolated afternoon storms by Sunday. Today, we begin with mostly clear skies and temperatures near 70. A few patches of fog will also be possible. Throughout the day, we’ll stay dry with abundant sunshine. Highs reach into the lower 90s again with heat index values into the mid-90s.
