SPOTTY SHOWERS AND STORMS RETURN

Sunday morning will be much warmer with temperatures mostly in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Then through the day, we’ll see sunshine and highs in the lower 90s. Again, heat index values will be in the lower to mid-90s. Later in the afternoon, a few spotty showers and thunderstorms return. These will become more frequent into next week. This appears to be somewhat of a repeat into Monday with morning temperatures in the upper 60s and afternoon highs in the upper 80s. Spotty showers and storms will occur again in the afternoon. But not everyone sees rainfall. And this will be the case each day, at least through the first half of the work week. As we roll into mid and late-week, showers and storms appear more frequent. Highs will be in the middle and upper 80s. And the humidity will still be around. So while temperatures may be a bit cooler, it’s all due to rain. It’s not thanks to the drier air. So it’s certainly a more summer-like pattern than what we’ve seen in recent days.
