The Natchez Trace Witch Dance

Strange Corner is one part podcast, one part urban exploration, with a hint of the paranormal, and one part aspiring storytellers and film-makers creating content that is sure to leave you wanting more.

We travel to unique locations to experience the tales of folklore firsthand, bring that video back, and talk about it with the viewer in podcast-style format.

Along with that, we weave in our mind bending short films, twisting reality so you never know where the Strange begins and reality ends.

In this episode, we explored the legend of Witch Dance on the Natchez Trace.

We had heard rumors that if you talk about the legend of Big Harpe — a known ruffian from the late 1800’s with a history of violence — you would hear laughter coming from the woods.

We decided it was too good of an opportunity to pass up, especially since it is so close to home. Little did we know what actually waited for us out there and how shocked we would be after analyzing the evidence!

A full breakdown and analysis podcast video is coming, so stay tuned for that!

Strange Corner is a team effort of five people consisting of Lucas Horn, Benjamin Stewart, Benson Hurst, Benjamin (Bean) Loveless, and Will Daniel. While we each bring a unique perspective to the group, all of us are united in the common goal to seek out and discover The Strange. Most of our content will come in the form of urban exploration/investigation, teetering on the edge of the paranormal and unexplained. Other times, we may attempt to twist reality with our short video clips, walking the line of an alternate reality game (viewer participation may or may not be required). We truly hope you will join us along for the journey and help us to discover your Strange Corner too. Also, we don't say goodbye so... Stay Strange
