Dangerous heat and humidity will be an issue into the afternoon along with a few isolated showers and storms. Afternoon highs will climb into the lower to mid-90s. Heat index values will likely reach into the upper 90s to lower 100s.

Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Independence Day: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
