It’s Friday! Woot! Welcome to The Rundown , sponsored by Sprout Insurance. The Elvis Fest continues through this weekend. We have lots of visitors in town so there will be tons of traffic, lots of closed roads downtown, and tourists on the road both driving and in pedestrian form, so be careful out there.
First your weather, as told by the experts as WTVA – The Weather Authority. Round after round of moderate to heavy rainfall will be likely through the morning and midday, perhaps even into the afternoon. Most of this is concentrated across the south. But everyone gets a fair share of rainfall today. So make sure you are prepared with a rain coat or umbrella on-hand. Along with heavy rainfall, some storms could produce damaging wind and small hail, mostly south of Highway 82. More rain is anticipated into the weekend, perhaps increasing the threat for flash flooding. (This looks exactly like yesterdays, I don’t know if they haven’t updated, or if the weather is just VERY consistent!)
