Weather Outlook

It was really cold this morning. Are you looking forward to a warmer day with lots of sunshine? Here’s a look at the WTVA – The Weather Authority:
We begin our Wednesday with mostly clear skies and much colder temperatures. Areas of frost are likely as temperatures will start out in the lower to mid-30s. Throughout the morning, temperatures climb quickly. With sunshine, highs will climb into the upper 60s to lower 70s. We’ll remain clear into the night as well. But temperatures won’t be quite as cold by Thursday morning as winds will be light out of the south. Expect lows in the mid-40s.

National ‘Joe’ Day! Are you tired of being called mom, dad, grandma, ‘enter your name here’ etc.? Today is your day! Go by the name Joe for the day. More than likely, you will not answer to it and everyone will go by Joe today! Or you could enjoy a cup of joe with someone named Joe! Know any famous Joe’s?
National Spanish Paella Day! This is a Spanish-French dish traditionally made with white rice, green vegetables, meat (preferably rabbit, chicken, or duck), land snails, beans, saffron, and olive oil. It is served in a pan. Paella means pan in French. I think I will pass on this. What about you? Do you have a famous recipe or a go to for it?
Manatee Appreciation Day! Manatees are often referred to as sea cows. Despite their huge and massive size, they are still graceful swimmers. Manatee populations are found along North American east coast from Florida to Brazil, the Amazon River, and the west coast and rivers of Africa. Today would be a good day to visit the zoo or donate to your favorite zoo!
World Day of Theatre! This was initiated in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute. On this day, a figure of world stature shares his or her reflections on the theme of Theatre and a Culture of Peace.
