Good Tuesday Morning, and welcome to the Rundown! Today is Tuesday, March 26th, 2019 and it is the 85th day of the year. There are 280 days left in this year. Summer arrives in 87 days and Easter is in 26 days.
Weather Outlook
Here’s a look at the WTVA – The Weather Authority forecast for the day:
Expect mostly cloudy skies early this Tuesday morning along with temperatures in the mid and upper 40s. Some will start out in the lower 50s. By the afternoon, we’ll see clouds give way to sunshine. But winds will still be out of the north between 8 and 12 mph. So temperatures will only reach into the lower and mid-60s. Later tonight, winds calm down a bit under clear skies. So by the time you head out the door Wednesday morning, we’ll see temperatures dip into the mid-30s. A few areas of frost are possible.

On This Day
National Spinach Day! Popeye sure would be happy today. Spinach is a rich source of vitamin A, C, and K. Also, a rich source of magnesium, manganese, iron, and folate. I like fresh spinach in salads and on my sandwich. I do not like it boiled. I also love spinach and artichoke dip. What is your favorite? How do you like yours?
National Nougat Day! Yummy! So rich! Indulge and devour today. A nougat is a family of confections made with sugar or honey, roasted nuts, whipped egg whites, and some chopped candied fruit. How do you like yours? Do you make it or get it from somewhere.
That’s what I can find for today, but if you have something else you know about, or have an upcoming event you are interested in promoting, please message us or drop it in a comment below. We are going to be making some announcements so stay tuned and don’t miss out.You can still submit your birthdays and anniversaries. I will be announcing them each day as they occur. We will be working towards a weekly drawing for a special celebration from us to you! We will not know if you do not let us know, so don’t be shy.
Thanks, everyone, and have a triumphant Tuesday!
