On This Day

In 1999, the Columbine High School Massacre took place in Columbine, Colorado. Two students killed 13 people, injuring 24 others, before committing suicide.

National Look Alike Day! A fun day to celebrate twins, clones, copycats, and celebrity look alikes. If you have a look alike, dress like them today. If you have a twin, dress alike today. Whether you have a look alike or not, whether it is your spouse or best friend, dress alike today!

National Lima Bean Respect Day! Lima beans are a legume. They are a good source of dietary fiber and high-quality protein.

National Pineapple Upside Down Cake Day! A pineapple upside down cake is made by placing butter, sugar, pineapples, and sometimes cherries at the bottom of the cake pan before the batter. This creates a decorative topping once the cake is baked and inverted.

Word of the Day: Skinkle is to glitter, sparkle, or twinkle.

Quote of the Day: You were born an original. Don’t die a copy. -Unknown
