Maggie Bushway

Maggie Bushway is an independent filmmaker and videographer in North Mississippi. She was Meridian born, Colorado raised, and now lives a nomadic lifestyle between Oxford and Shannon. Bushway recently graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in broadcast journalism, where she learned that the real news is getting more and more satirical every day. She’s written and directed 14 short films, most of which are comedies. Bushway is currently writing a feature length dark comedy and working towards getting her master’s degree in journalism at Ole Miss.
